She’s known for her honest, grounded approach to Kundalini, and for building safe, transformative spaces for personal growth. She's certified over 1,500 Kundalini Yoga Teachers.
Katrina Marie
Trauma survivor, science nerd, and spiritual educator. With a background in biology, somatics, and therapeutic yoga, Katrina leads with emotional intelligence and trauma-conscious teaching. She’s also a studio owner and the creator of Moon Circles and Slow Flow Mudra Monday.
Who teaches the live portion of the training?
Your entire home study curriculum — over 100 hours of Kundalini kriyas, tantric philosophy, feminine-form energy work, chakra teachings, anatomy, and trauma-informed sequencing — is taught by Brett Larkin. Brett is also the teacher training director and designs the full syllabus, curriculum, and focus of each live call.
The live calls serve a different purpose: they're where you integrate what you're learning, build friendships in your Sacred Circle, stay accountable, practice teaching, ask questions, and feel supported in community. These calls are led by Brett's senior faculty by design — this is where you put what Brett taught you into live practice with humans she trusts. These faculty include teachers Brett has worked closely with for seven years or more, and teachers Brett has studied with and learned from herself.
Brett also teaches a mid-training integration call where you can meet her live and ask questions directly, and she often leads one or two specialty lectures during the training.

How is this different from other Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Certifications
Most Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training programs are affiliated with Yogi Bhajan or the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI). Ours is not. We offer a non-dogmatic, modern training that includes yoga anatomy, feminine form Kundalini, adaptations for diverse student populations, tantrik breathing practices, chakra practices, adaptive kriya yoga, and trauma-conscious teaching skills. You’ll learn how to create your own Kundalini sequences, modify kundalini practices for students with injuries or trauma, and blend Kundalini with vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga, or yoga nidra.
Because students learn together, receive real feedback, and stay supported throughout the program, Uplifted maintains a 96% certification rate - 5x the online yoga industry average.
Is this Kundalini Training right for me?
If any of these three groups describes you — yes.
About 40% of our students enroll planning to teach Kundalini professionally. About 30% think they'll teach someday but aren't sure when. About 30% never plan to lead a formal class — they come for the personal transformation, nervous system healing, and deep integration of Kundalini into their own life.
All three groups finish equally well, and you don't have to know which category you're in when you enroll.
If you're drawn to feminine-form, trauma-informed Kundalini — free from Yogi Bhajan/KRI dogma — and willing to show up for weekly live cohort calls, you're the right fit.
Does this Kundalini training give me the 200-Hour RYT Certification with Yoga Alliance?
Yes. We are a registered Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Registered Yoga School. Graduate from this training with your 200-Hour RYT credential during this distance learning period. Uplifted Yoga has certified over 1,500 Kundalini Yoga teachers.
Do I begin training right away, as soon as I sign up?
Yes. The moment you enroll, you receive immediate access to your on-demand video curriculum and manuals, so you can begin right away.
We recommend starting with the 40-Day Kriya and Kundalini Demystified sections, then moving through the remaining videos at a pace that feels supportive for your life. As you do, you’re also invited into our Welcome calls — expert-led gatherings designed to help you integrate the teachings and feel grounded and prepared before the live portion of the training begins. Attend as many as you'd like while you wait for your live cohort to start.
Registering early gives you the time and space to absorb the material, stay supported along the way, and arrive at the live calls feeling confident and connected.
What's the time commitment?
In a given week you might:
- Watch 3 hours of pre-recorded video content or Live Call replays
- Attend one 2.5 hour Live Call
- Complete 30 minutes of homework
- Enjoy 3 - 5 hours of yoga practices
Note: The sooner you register, the sooner you can get ahead on the pre-recorded, Home Study coursework
When are the next available Live Calls after the session above?
April 2027. You can still register now, access material instantly, and receive extend payment plan benefits.
Can I graduate at my own pace?
If you move through this program live with your training class, you’ll graduate in 10 weeks. After completion of all the training requirements, you’ll be certified. You can always progress at your own pace.

Can I register for the Kundalini Bridge rate?
The Bridge program is exclusively for those of you who are already 200-Hour CERTIFIED KUNDALINI YOGA TEACHERS - aka certificates from KRI or a 200-Hour Kundalini school specializing in Kundalini Yoga. We ask you to submit a photo or digital copy of your 200-Hour Kundalini certificate within 2 weeks of registering.
I'm not sure if my 200-Hour Kundalini certification is eligible for the Bridge program...?
Email a picture of your 200-Hour Kundalini YTT certificate with a link to your school to [email protected] so we can help.
I’m currently enrolled in an 200-Hour Kundalini in-person training and would like to register for the Bridge program, but don’t have my diploma yet? Can I register as a Bridge student?
Yes, if you’re currently enrolled in a Certified 200-Hour Kundalini Yoga program and can provide proof of enrollment in the form of a receipt or confirmation letter, you may register as a Bridge student.
Will I receive a certificate as a Bridge student?
Yes! You will receive a Certificate for 170 hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours (YACEP).
As Bridge student, do I need to take the exam and attend live calls?
Nope! There’s no exam required for Bridge students, and attending live calls is completely optional. You’ll have access to all replays to watch anytime it fits your schedule.
If you’d like to take the exam, receive personalized teaching feedback, and graduate as a certified 200-hour teacher, you can easily upgrade your enrollment at any time within the first 2 weeks of the start of Live Calls.

What payment options do you accept?
You can pay with a credit card or PayPal. All pricing is listed in US dollars and payments will be automatically converted to US dollars if you are paying with another currency.
What payment plans are available?
How long does it take for me to earn my 200-Hour Kundalini certification?
Approximately 10 weeks from the time training Live Calls start.
What are your refund policies?
Refund Policy
Uplifted Kundalini 200-Hour Tuition (paying in full or by payment plan) releases training content and the manual immediately and is therefore non-refundable. Students have permanent, lifetime access to the material.
Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
We are currently investigating the best way to bring merit-based scholarships and need-based financial aid to our students. We'll soon have a program specifically for international students in the Philippines and similar countries where the currency conversion makes taking such a training an impossibility for many. Please email into [email protected]. We are able to provide all students with a receipt of tuition if you believe you qualify for reimbursement.
Can you provide me with a “proof of tuition” payment for my own business or tax purposes?
Of course — smart thinking! If you are already a yoga teacher or in a profession in which yoga certification could enhance your business (aka a massage practitioner, nutritionist, personal trainer or similar), your tuition could be tax deductible. Please check with your accountant. Information on how to obtain your tuition receipts will be located in your program guidelines upon registration.
